PPE REQUIRED

LOAD ROLL OFF BIN ONTO TRUCK

1. Conduct a walk around, look up
2. Enter the cab, use 3-point contact
3. Back up to bin, use spotter if available
4. Apply the park brake
5. Exit cab, use 3-point contact
6. Inspect and attach the cable hook assembly
7. Ensure the bin door is secure
8. Re-enter cab
9. Engage PTO
10. Engage Winch
11. Once the bin is on the deck, exit cab
12. Engage tarp and secure (for open bins only)
13. Re-enter cab
14. Check mirrors, scanning for obstructions
15. Release the park brake
16. Proceed to destination

OFFLOAD ROLL OFF BIN

1. Conduct a walk around, look up
2. Enter the cab, use 3-point contact
3. Back up to designated spot, use spotter if available
4. Apply the park brake
5. Exit cab, use 3-point contact
6. Roll up tarp, if applicable
7. Remove transport locks, belts and straps
8. Ensure bin door is secure
9. Re-enter cab
10. Engage PTO
11. Lift the bin rail mast to allow bin to slide off rear of the truck
12. Engage the out winch
13. Allow bin to set on to the ground
14. Once set on the ground, disengage park brake
15. Slowly begin to wheel out winch (only enough to maintain control of the bin and to avoid an uncontrolled release)
16. Slowly drive forward as the bin slides to the ground
17. Apply the park brake
18. Exit the cab
19. Un-attach the cable hook assembly
20. Re-enter the cab
21. Check mirrors, scanning for obstructions
22. Release the park brake
23. Drive forward

DUMP ROLL OFF BIN

1. Conduct a walk around, look up
2. Roll up tarp, if applicable
3. Enter the cab, use 3-point contact
4. Back up to designated spot, use spotter if available
5. Apply the park brake
6. Exit the cab
7. Conduct a walk around to assess for new hazards
8. Stand off to the side of the bin
9. Release lock mechanism and safety chain
10. Swing door open, be aware of loose debris
11. Secure safety chain to the bin
12. Re-enter the cab
13. Engage the PTO
14. Lift bin rail to dump the bin
15. Disengage the park brake
16. Pull forward once the bin is in an upright position to clear material
17. Once material is clear, lower the bin rail to the down position
18. Disengage the PTO
19. Pull ahead to clear dumped load, then stop
20. Apply the park brake
21. Exit the cab
22. Walk to the rear of the truck
23. Remove doors safety chain
24. Close door fully, lock and secure the chain in place
25. Conduct a final walk around
26. Re-enter the cab
27. Check mirrors, scanning for obstructions
28. Release the park brake
29. Drive forward
