EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN
Follow Country Pump Outs ERP Procedure
PPE REQUIRED
​PRE-START CHECKS
  1. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as listed above
  2. Ensure all personnel are trained and competent to perform the task at hand
  3. Ensure personnel are fit for duty
PRE-JOB PROCEDURE (BEFORE DELIVERING TO SITE)
  1. Ensure the wash car has been detailed
  2. Stock supplies
    1. Replace air fresheners
    2. Fill soap dispenser
    3. Fill hand sanitizer – if applicable
    4. Fill paper towel – if applicable
    5. Add a clean urinal puck – if applicable
    6. Replace / refill toilet paper
  3. Contract 3rd party company to pick up and deliver to site
​MOBILIZE (UPON DELIVERY) - SAFE WORK PROCEDURE
  1. Ensure furnace exhaust has been installed back on the roof.
  2. Connect to power supply
  3. Turn on lights and Furnace
  4. Fill with potable water
    1. String out appropriate length of water hose
    2. Attach water hose to “water fill”
    3. Open valve on water tank, if equipped
    4. Turn on water until full
    5. Close valve on water tank, if equipped
    6. Ensure the suck back on hose is empty
    7. Roll up and stow away water hose
  5. Test pump
    1. Plug the pump in
    2. Inspect valves and drains, ensuring they are in the proper position
    3. Turn pump on
    4. Open taps to test for good water flow
  6. Turn on hot water tank
    1. Put the disconnect switch for the hot water tank in the “ON” position
    2. Allow HWT to warm up
    3. Close the mechanical room door
    4. Move onto step 7 while the hot water tank warms up
  7. Tidy up interior
  8. Open the hot water tap to test for hot water.
​DE-MOBILIZE (BEFORE LEAVING SITE) - SAFE WORK PROCEDURE
  1. Disconnect power to the hot water tank by putting the disconnect switch in the “OFF” position
  2. Drain potable water by opening valve
  3. Flush and drain all the toilets
  4. Winter – winterize the water system
  5. Empty septic holding tank
    1. String out appropriate length of vac hose
    2. Connect hose to the trucks tank
    3. Connect the opposite end of the hose to the holding tank
    4. Turn on vac pump
    5. Open valve on sewer tank, if equipped
    6. Hook truck – elevate the front of the wash car about 1 foot
    7. Run vac until tank is empty
    8. Close valve on sewer tank, if equipped
    9. Roll up and stow away sewer hose
  6. Secure garbage’s, paper towels, etc
  7. Remove furnace exhaust vent and secure safely inside unit
  8. If there are damages, fill out the proper documentation
    1. Select the documents time in Samsara
    2. Create new document
    3. Select “Equipment Damage Report”
    4. Take pictures, make sure they show where the unit is located as well
  9. Contract 3rd party company to pick up and deliver back to home base
POST-JOB PROCEDURE (BACK AT HOME BASE)
  1. Repair any damages
  2. Fully detail the wash car
  3. Stock supplies
    1. Replace air fresheners
    2. Fill soap dispenser
    3. Fill hand sanitizer – if applicable
    4. Fill paper towel – if applicable
    5. Add a clean urinal puck – if applicable
    6. Replace / refill toilet paper
